FX-3 switch plate question
i was interested in getting an FX-3 switch put in on my car...cuz i like how it looks and so i can lie about having FX-3...and i'm wondering..does the plate surrounding the switch come out of the assembly with the seat adjuster levers, or is the whole thing built as one piece?? will my blank filler plate just pop out? would this be a big pain?? maybe i could use it as a starter kill switch for added security....hmmm....

The switch is a seperate panel on dual power seat cars im not sure on driver only. I believe there are two screws underneath holding the switch. It does look cooler than the blank spot. I bet you could change the ride with your friends in the car and ask them if they feel the difference. They would probably be like yeah thats cool. :eek:

The FX 3 switch is installed inside a plastic shell with the seat swiches on either side. I does not look easy to seperate from the shell. To me it looks like a slide/click tab arrangement that is easy to install but hard to uninstall. The plastic shell from the inside leaves no room to work. The best way would be to buy a complete used set of seat switches and replace the whole thing.
Then later buy a complete used FX3 system so you can really twist through the turns! (Actually I dont notice any real difference at normal speeds) :eek:
