This is a simple fix...you can do it yourself. Check out the stickys at the top of C4 tech/performance section. There is soooooo much written with pictures on this subject....its real well covered.

and not everyone wants or can do things by themselves :-)

Dude, Stop already. How many threads are you going to discourage someone from DIY?
Changing the bushings on a headlight motor.....one does not need to be a master mechanic to perform this operation.
Yes there is a thread that is a "Sticky" at the top of this page. That Thread contains step by step instructions as to how to replace those bushings......you'll need a 42 piece "starter" tool set that sells for $19.99 at the parts store to accomplish this task.
So $20 for tools (assuming the OP does not have a single screwdriver is wrong but just for fun).....and $5 for bushings from the hardware store.....1-3 hours of fun and the job is over.......Saved $100 bux and learned something along the way.

NOT everyone WANTS to work on their own cars! The original poster asked if a price was reasonable, NOT how to do the job. I know MANY MANY people who love their cars but don't have the desire/skill/time etc. to work on them.
I would never discourage anyone from trying if they WANT to, but if they are an amateur backyard mechanic, they should not be ripping apart their tranny etc. without some experience first!
This forum is a great place for information but you 'advanced' guys don't realize not everyone is like you, lighten up "dudes", we're all here to help!
I just fixed the left headlight on my 85 from the instructions in the sticky. It took about an hour and a few tools. It was not a hard fix by any means. Saved me a lot of cash that I can spend on the next fix...
If you own a Vette, you're gonna work on it...period. You might as well get familiar with it.
