Yes, But since going with Sepanek, and back to the TCI valvebody it seems much better. To bad I broke a halfshaft so I couldn't run it in the good fall air.
I have just rebuilt my 4L60e and among the problems we found was an input drum with spider cracks PLUS. In other words, the drum hadn't yet become a grenade but could at any moment.
At this rebuild the tranny had 160k. Previous rebuilders' marks on the case lead us to believe it had a full rebuild at ~80k and then a TransGo shift kit at ~100k.
Our guess is the drum was in trouble before the shift kit was installed but that since the shift kit was probably installed without pulling the tranny (and checking the drum), the then owner probably pushed the tranny causing the ultimate failure (although it did last for another 60k!)
Broke a expermintal billet input shaft in my 4L60e. Put the stock on back in it and so far it's holding but I suspect when I bolt the blower on the LSX440 it will brake something
I also broke the stock input shaft in a 200R4 with a blown 541 in front of it. replaced it with a billet one and it seams to be working fine. But the stock one lasted 4 years
