88 coolant temperature low

Default 88 coolant temperature low
Just bought an 88 and the dash digital guige for coolant temp. says "Low".The coolant level is full, the car has heat,and runs fine.Where is the sender for this?Is this a seperate sender from the engine management system?

Passenger side head, between 6 and 8, single spade connector.

The wire may be grounded somewhere between the sensor and the gauge
