Dana 44 Options
Hello I have a C3 (1980) Dana 44 wich we all know is the same as a C4 Dana 44 only diffrent. So we know the Case the Batwing, and the Side Yokes are diffrent but is the Carrier the same? If is is the same then an aftermarket Carier should work for mine as well. Has anybody had Exspeirance with the Eaton Tracloc or the OS Giken Units? Neither of these are listed as avalable for the C3. So by now your probably wondering why I'm on the C4 side asking C3 Questions its because You guys know Dana 44's thats why. Besides I have a 96 with a 44. One thing that is a lot better about the C3 Dana is the Price on the Used Market. I just got one Rotor to Rotor of Craigs List for $200

Its been a while since i have broken rearend parts(avoided the strip for a while) but he was one of the few that made and stocked parts for c4 d44,s. Im not sure if c3's used super 44's like c4's and vipers did.

Anything is possible.There are no spools for C4 D44's so guys have to mod regular D44 units to fit .
