Tampa Mechanic?

I'm pretty sure the clutch is toast in my 95. Anyone know any qualified mechanics that can tackle this in Tampa?

One of the top shops in the area is "Corvette Shop of Tampa" and I would also try the local Corvette club...."Tampa Bay Vettes".

May want to check out Tim MoyeTransmissions on US 41, just 1 mile North of Tampa in Lutz, FL. They are a father & son custom transmissioin shop that won't rip you off. Those guys did a stellar job rebuilding my last 700r4....yes - they do manuals/clutches also.

These guys are good and they are local to boot.

But they do run some irregular shop hours. It is a family run place with an outstanding reputation so they can kind of do what they want...Tim Sr. owns the place but his son Tim Jr. does a lot of the work. Tim Jr. did mine and he used the word "grenade" upon taking mine apart. My 700r4 was pretty "built" when it rolled out of there (many new upgraded parts and shift kit included) ~ $1,500 to remove, rebuild and reinstall. Comes with a 1 year warranty that covers everything from leaks to broken parts......as long as I don't hook the NOS up to the engine.
