Do you want to just remove the smog or air pump and plumbing? If so, BPP or Breathless Performance has a kit for you.
I have it on my 86,and the pulley kit allows removal of the air pump while retaining the stock serpentine belt.
Its for 85 and up TPI cars...cost around 150-160 for the kit.Mine was the polished unit and it looks great, made of good quality and cleans up the engine compartment nicely.
It came with rubber caps to block off the check valves but I removed the check valves and installed plumbing caps for a 55 cent each on the manifold smog ports....1/2 inch steel thread caps and removed the smog plumbing from the engine.Looks a ton betterand easier access to the front plugs with the check valves gone from the exhaust manifolds.
Hope this helps some.

I think they are in the vendor section, I also did the same thing. Let me know and I'll send you a couple of pics. I took out everything plumbing and all. Mine was purchased from Mid-America, but it's the same kit.
Send some of those pics my way. I am thinking of doing this also and would like to see what it loos like first. So you don't have to search for it my e-mail is Brad78681@yahoo.com
I have it on my car. I bought it used so it was about $50 cheaper than new. I would take pictures, but it is pouring right now and the car sleeps outside like the dog. :)
Please please please make sure your alternator is aligned properly after installing. I have eaten up 3 of them since installing this kit because of slight improper alignment. I have since used some washers to shim it into place correctly.
While not the best picture...at least it gives a general idea how it looks. It doe help clean up the engine bay a bit. I'd do it again. Follow Scorp's advice on the alignment.
