Default Front Spring Rates

Got a buddy who is looking for a new front composite spring for a '92 Vette. The stock FE1 spring seemed to be rated at 345 lbs - the other stock option seems to be the Z51 option with a 660 lb rating (I think). None of the aftermarket suppliers list any rating info of the springs they offer, just stating EZ ride, Performance or Track ratings. Buddy is looking for a composite spring with a rating of, say 450 to 500 lbs - any suggestions or thoughts from you C4 heads ?

Call Vette Brakes and Products. I think their "Sport" springs can have almost any rate you want.

He might also try Corvette Central and ask about the Hyperco springs.

I have a '90 FHB front spring from a Z-51 suspension. Rated at 115.5 n-mm which equals approx 660 lb - in. Still in good condition $ 200. DB

Thanks guys for responses - info was useful, but I really need info on composite springs with non-stock ratings.
As a matter of interest the vehicles in question are a '57 and '58 Chevy truck with '92 front & rear 'clips' and engine/transmission transplants.
