Default anyone running a high HP setup on the stock computer?

I know a lot of you have bored out monsters putting out north of 500 rwHP.

What I want to do in this post is get a quick tally on how many are running their stock computer? and how many are running an aftermarket system (like accel DFI).

How about more complicated setups (ex. supercharger, turbo, etc.)
We all know the pitfalls of the stock computer, like inability to sense boost.

State rearwheel horsepower, boosted or naturally aspirated, year of car (err. computer year for those using a computer out of a different C4,), and what computer you are using.

Im more interested in the computer hardware you are using vs. where you got it tuned.

I'll start:

440 rwHP, supercharger, 1993 corvette, stock ECM.

highest i hit was 690whp so far on stock 730 ecm computer just retuned with Code $59 on boost. THis was a very rich tune and with lots of other issues like too loose converter, backpressure issues, etc.

Expecting low 700's on my street boost setup (14-15 psi) and hopefully closer to 800 on higher boost of 18psi or so.

Twin turbo 401 small block run off of 91-92 730 ecm and code $59 tuned by me. Add 3-bar map sensor and this code and tune away. About 650whp on 14 psi, ran 9.8's at 140-141 on pump gas. Full weight 89 camaro with 8 pt roll bar

Ran the stock computer with boost on upgraded chips succesfully to the 570WHP level. At that point, it seemed that I was changing chips so often, and I wanted to do more boost and more cubes. This combo went very low 10s at high 130s.

When I switched to higher boost, more cubes, and large SR, I switched to aftermarket ECM. That was one of the best decisions that I had made to that point. Car was nearing 900WHP range. I have since moved to very high boost levels (still mostly the same on the long block), but only involved the swap to 3Bar MAP and much larger injectors. Car is considerably higher HP and runs in the low 9s at very high 150s (60' still sucks in the 1.7 range ).

Based on my experience, it is extremely difficult to tune above 550WHP (especially with boost), and there is more power to be made through the aftermarket ECMs.

I find it pretty easy to tune for over 600whp on my setup but who knows if an aftermarket ecm could get more power out of it or not... i mean how much different can it control timing and air fuel? Changing chips constantly may be a pain but i'm used to it and doesnt take long for me

25 bucks for a 730 ecm plus 80 bucks for a 3 bar map vs 2000+ for aftermarket fuel management, i cant complain until my motor blows up from inaccurate fuel control

Stock 727 ecm, moates adapter and APU1. In my experience the gains using the aftermarket such as FAST would be the ability to use sequential and controlling each cylinder more acurately. What I would like to see in the aftermarket systems would be the additional tables (similar to the aujp 4) made available in the hack.
