Default Anyone using Proform 2-Piece valve covers

I'm using AFR 210 LT4 heads and want to know if anyone is using Proform 2-Piece valve covers. I would like to know how they get fastened to the head. I know these are not centerbolt valve covers, but with my AFR heads I can use both perimeter and centerbolt covers.

I was looking at the #141-913 covers.

Does anyone have pictures from the inside with the top off???

Pete, thanks for the link! I found it also right after I posted my question.
I wrote and asked Proform if they could tell me the height, so I can compare with the stock cover. Seems to be a very tall valve cover.
Guess I would also have to move the alternator because the cover seems to be a bit longer. I moved my alternator up about 1/2" but I guess it won't be enough. It will have to be relocated.
I'm switching to a SR and so it would be nicer to have a 2 piece cover.

That was my thought as well. They look tall. Windshied wiper motor may hit too.
Post the height, if they answer your question. Looks like a nice cover, if it will fit.

As soon as I get an answer I'll post the height.
I was looking at the # 141-913 because these covers are only $189.75. Compared to the other Proform 2 piece covers these are the cheapest. I would powder coat them anyway to match the intake I made this summer.

LE is upgrading my heads at the moment and also ordering my SR cam 247/255 112° from Bullet. So after I put everything back together it should make some decent power.

That's a nice looking intake -- did you fab that up? Sheetmetal?

Yes, made the intake myself. It's a Edelbrock Pro Ram II carb intake which I converted to FI. If you want to see more pictures follow the link in my sig. Haven't tried it out yet, but I will as soon as I put my engine back together again. Just waiting for the heads, cam and a few other parts to arrive.

Very nice! I look forward to seeing your final results. I have AFR 210 comp-ported eliminator heads and they've been great.
