I have a squeak on my 95 vette that is proportionate to engine revolutions. At idle it squeaks about every ľ of a second. It’s barely audible inside the car. If the Procharger head unit had a bearing going out it would be constant and probably have a roar vs. a squeak, right? It has 20K trouble free unabused miles on it.

which procharger model do you have? My p600b is squeaky and thats normal. Its just a 'loud' blower.

You mention 20k trouble free miles, Im going to guess that something has changed in the normal noise you are used to.

Maybe its the alternator?

Are you running a 6 rib setup (with the serpentine accessories driven off the same belt?) or a separate, dedicated (it only runs the blower) 8 rib setup?

It's a P-1SC and the noise is new. The alternator has 9K on it and I run the 6 rib serp. belt that runs everything.

Remove serp belt and turn every pulley, including idlers an accessories, and see if any feel rough, loose, or stiff. Also, is your crank hub keyed?

Will do. I'm pretty sure the crank hub is keyed

If you're not sure it's keyed then it probably isn't...good luck!
