I have the complete TPI unit for an 88 corvette. I see that Edlebrock makes new high flow runners and base for this TPI set up. I was just wondering if any one has ever used it and is the air flow enough to make a big difference over stock.
It's okay but not a huge gain, I think the cost is to high for what it does. Maybe a miniram instead? There have been a million threads on HP gains, a search could help you with your goals. We would need to know more about them to make good suggestions. Also any other mods done or is the car stock.
No, No others mods done to the car, it is stock. I was just wondering because like you said, these parts aren't cheap.
I was thinking of pulling the motor and stroking it to a 383. If I did so, and had the computer recalibrated, would the intake unit be able to handle 400 - 425 horse power?
