CD Player install?
Car: 1987 Coupe, Bose Gold Equiped
A friend of mine is selling a DIN cd player, I think its made by Eclipse. I can do the sheet metal work to make it fit in the 2DIN space, but I don't understand electronics...at all.
Is this pretty much unplug the Bose Tape Deck and Plug in the CD player? There's an adapter right, anybody know a part number or place to get it?
Any help is appreciated.

... and they make adpators for DIN stereo's to fit in the earlier C4 din and a half hole. FYI, 2 DIN size tereo's came out with the new dash in 90...
Adaptors are sold by Ecklers...
I ripped my whole system out and started from scratch. Not too bad... just time consuming.
