The warm air blowers on my corvette dont work. I`ve located the fan motor but am not sure if the fault is at the fan or climate controls. At the terminals for the motor should I be receiving 12 volts?
Anyone had the same problem or know how to fix it?
oh ok, i tested at the plug for the motor and had no voltage so there must be a problem with the controls. is this common for climate control to go wrong?
Well I`m not to used to car electrics but I`m learning. Thanks for that link though it really helped. I had no supply at the plug on top of the ac housing. It said if it was dead the fusible link was blown. Whilst searcing for that I found the cable had been disconnected at some point probably when the starter motor was changed. I reconnected that cable to 12v and they work. Its so nice to have warm blowers. Now to get the ac blowing cold.
