Odd door noise:
I have a 84 vette and was out driving today and hear a loud noise on the driver side door. It sounded like someone kicked the door as I was driving. I stopped and got out because I thought something flew up and hit the car but saw nothing. The car did not have a mark on it and everything was ok. The car drove fine and still does but the noise was kinda odd. Anyone else hear of this or have it happen to them?
Any info would be great,

No, thats not it. I was driving down the highway, nice and smooth. I am always careful when I drive her.
It was more like if someone was standing next to the car and kicked the door. Car was fine and nothing happened after that. Thats why its so odd.

Ya it stays open. Everything is fine with the door as far as it working.
The power windows work fine, locks, lights etc.
Nothing wrong there. Door closes good also.
I even rocked the car to see if maybe it was the shocks or soemthing and its not.
I am wondering if the door is not lined up right and it popped back into place?
Still have no idea
