I just finished my build with 195's on a 383 9.8:1. XFI comp cam 282 series. Engine dyno showed 493 hp and 480 tq with a holley street avenger carb. I just purchased an 86 vette and will be installing the new motor with fuel injection soon. I can't wait to see what it does

It is interesting to see what kind of numbers similar motors are laying down. I have not changed to larger headers yet but I am hoping for above 420 rwhp.

406 forged sbc, 195 AFR heads, 244/244 110 lsa cam, mini ram, 42# injectors, headers, Acell Gen 7 engine managment system

We are scheduled for march 13th. The reason for this date is we are going to have 10 or so high horsepower c4s c5s and c6s. Some of the guys are there to find out what they have, but most of us will want to tune also. Several guys are waiting for parts to get here, they will need a little time to install and tune. Vince will have his twin turbo c5 expecting to make 1000 hp, several 500+ RWHP and a bunch between 400 and 460 rwhp. Anyway these are the numbers that are expected. The dyno is a humbler!! I have not talked to Jim yet to see if he is going to have is red c4 there.

$1,250.00 is a steal.Jegs wants almost $1,800.00 for the p/n: 1031's

Where did you find them for that price?

The OP was wanting AFR's for L98's. I believe the LT1's are about 400.00 more for some reason.
