Truth is you seem so impatient and demanding that it's probably turning off a lot of guys. I'm one of them. To me, you're coming across with DEMANDS and most people don't respond well to DEMANDS.

Both my son and I have 96 LT1s and I have some experience in working on them, having built a few. However, I'd never make the claim of knowing about everything relating to them.

I'm one member who tries to help others whenever I can, so I may be able to help you with some of the questions you have but I'm reluctant to because of your posts. To receive the help you want you really need to know how to ask.

I'll try one last time: Since you claim to know what you're doing, do us all a favor and show it. Take the time and write a post listing exactly what you really KNOW about this planned swap. If you don't, this will be my last response.

I really suspect you're getting in over your head, but you can prove me wrong by what you list in your post.

Yes, you will have to hunt for hoses though.

Your subliminally calling me an idiot , i can tell by your post. I have been around chevy small blocks a bit and have built my own. I don't know everything and i know that but neither does anybody else. How in the world did you come up with my questions being "Demands" as you call them? As far as i know a demand is like "Tell me if i can use my old radiator with the LT1!! Not, Does anybody know if i can reuse my old radiator with the LT1? Thanks. Doesn't sound like a demand to me. Maybe i am impatient, wouldn't you if you ask a question and nobody answers you for 12+ days....then you gotta ask again so that ppl can see your thread? Your are making accusations off info you don't know, not trying to be a dick but your coming off as one of those ppl that just complains on every thread they post on. I ask like 2 questions in a row and its too much? really?! Again no offense to the ppl who have replied to me. Thank you!

Reminds me of an old saying: "He knows not that he knows not".

As far as I'm concerned, from here on out, you're on your own.

Well that's just plain immaturity. I wasn't trying to be a jerk but you weren't that kind to me either. Doesn't really bother me that much anyways. You just complained about my posting style anyways.

I don't remember reading of anyone on this site installing an LT1 in an 84. So, you might have a hard time getting the radiator question answered. My suggestion would be, find someone with an LT1 Vette and compare the radiator and radiator hose routing to your 84's. At the very worst you might have to buy an LT1 radiator which are pretty cheap on ebay.

Didnt the early C4s have a more upright positioned radiator vs the later ones having one back at an angle, may affect the hose issue.
If it were me it would be tempting to just use a converted LT1 intake, a better head and get the power for much less $ and headache.

As far as i see it its still not an LT1 though. Its a wannabe... i want to do this right. Just small things i'm worrying about. Like the radiator mainly lol.

Also is the hub for the harmonic balancer longer on the F-body/ B-body LT1's than the Corvette LT1's? Thanks
