Default Another Super Ram Install Question

I installed my SR and AFR 195 heads a few months ago. Performance has been good but recently started using oil. I've narrowed the problem to an intake gasket. Its sucking oil into the plenum and fouling some plugs. The intake will be coming off today.

I first tried a Fel Pro 1205 gasket like AFR recommended. It did not fit right. There was blue seal showing at the top of the intake ports. I switched to a 1256 gasket. Its a little smaller and looked like it fit OK.

Any suggestions on gaskets or install would be appreciated. I love this SR but the leaks are killing me.

Yesterday i installed my intake base, and i guess that the blue seal shows and its normal,it showed when i installed my tpi as well.
Im on my way to delete the EGR and put the radiator back in place now,i will take some more pics if you need something.

Maybe im talking about other thing but here you can notice a bit of the gasket showing of the intake.

I pulled the intake yesterday and the gasket was very deformed. I suspect it was due to how I installed it. I didn't let the gasket set up before installing the manifold and I think I torqued too much.

This time I plan on using some RTV around the ports. I'll stick the gaskets to the heads and place the manifold on with bolts snug. I'll let it sit 24 hours and pull the intake. If the gasket is still good, I'll use a little more RTV and set the manifold. Then torque to 25 lb.

Cumber i took some pics for you today , we used RTV on all the ports, just to make sure, then we snug tight every bolt and start tightening in sequence, then we torqued to 38 lbs/ft..maybe we tighted too much
But it looks ok so far, we did the same procedure when i first rebuild the engine (stock tpi).-

i hope it helps ....and i hope we did right
The blue thing shows on my gaskets too.

I glued the intake gaskets today using the 1205 gaskets recommended by AFR and some RTV around the ports. The blue seal does not show like yours. I can barely see blue on the corners. I set the manifold in place and tightened the bolts snug tight. Tomorrow I will pull the instake and make sure the gaskets are positioned right. Then I'll put RTV on the gaskets, set the manifold and torque.
