That makes sense to me. I just don't see a lot of C4 race cars with the Vette Brakes bracket. Every racer knows about the DRM bracket. That sort of solved it for me.

Yeah, if you have heims it is really easy to just make your own setup, no need to buy a bracket. But the DRM solves the problem I have with those square adapter plates which place the bolt in the center of the adjustment range. With the 84-87 or 88-96/VBP brackets you will not get the same drop as you would welding a washing at the bottom of the slot. With the DRM setup it looks like you will not lose height either way.
So... 84-87< 88-96 /VBP < DRM =/< Custom

Speaking of C4 rear suspensions here's a bracket from the old World Challenge days. Yes it's legal.


Instead of having two brackets for the lower camber rods they used a single bracket.
