Climate Control - Stuck Buttons

I have two stuck buttons on a 1989 digital climate control. I found a replacement control from a local private party but how can I tell if it is the correct unit? It has all the same buttons including the rear defogger. Is it safe to say it will work being the face of the unit is the same? The only numbers on it is the Delco # 16087191

What year and vehicle, is the unit from. I can't find that number in my C4 parts manual.

The replacement unit is supposed to be from an 89 which I have but being a private party you never know for sure. The number I believe is a Delco number not a GM part number.

Seems to be the correct 1989 part
