Default Would anyone share their tune?

I'm having my engine rebuilt in my '88 as a 355, ported 113 heads, hot cam, 6" rod, and SR intake. I was wondering if anyone would share their tune for a similar setup. I could load it up and have a base tune to start with. I'm in the process of collecting the tuning equipment.

I can help you out wit a base tune. Give me a call, I will have a few suggestions and good base points.

To tell you the truth your stock tune is a good base point, just increase the hot idle to 800 RPM and change your injector constants to what you are running and it will run pretty good.

Okay, thanks Brian! Do you think the converter should be locked up or not when I'm at Road America?

I have TunerPro RT and I'm looking at my bin. There is injector size double and single fire options. Are these the only places I have to change the number?

Changing hot idle, use the table: idle RPM vs coolant temp, right? It's set to 575 after 176 temp. That's easy enough to figure out.

Question, is there an explanation of these tables? For example they use abbreviations like CL, I'm assuming that's closed loop.

You are correct with the sizing being shown in single fire and double fire, that is where you set the injector constant.

The idle is set at idle RPM vs coolant temperature.

To reduce heat you should lock the converter at RA but only if you have a converter that can handle lock-up at WOT. It should be a tripple disk converter.

The abbreviations might be listed under your help command.
