When you see one of these set up if you can't exit before you get to it, put the car in neutral, turn the engine off and coast past it, then turn the car back on after you pass it.

I still think that so long as I can meet the original emissions of my vehicle when it was new from the factory I should be able to do any thing I like to it...period. :cuss
