Default 383 rotating kit.

Can anyone tell me if I need to get my computer reprogramed in my 88 vette if I put in a 383 rotating kit? If so who does it?
Also do I need to keep my EGR valve and pipe if I'm taking out the air pump?

Yes, you will need a tune although I think there have been one or two that have done ok without one. I would definitely get a custom tune.

If I remember correctly somebody from this board told me at the track at one time he used a stock prom. You would definitely need to adjust the fuel pressure at the very least.

Yes , a tune will need to be done for 100% from your motor, but I know one guy that runs his 383 with a 219 Lingenfelter cam and superram on a stock tune and does just fine with only adjusting his fuel pressure..WW
