Default My New Engine (PIC)

Just picked this up from a forum members son. I don't think he posts regularly, but if you read this Glen, thanks. It was posted here for sale about 3 months ago. Some of you have seen the pics before (Glock?). Anyway I picked it up today. Planning on tearing it down to work the heads over and put some other go fast stuff in there. I'm not in a big hurry to install it. I'll probably be looking for a HotCam. I already have some springs and rockers and other stuff to move from my current motor.

That's the good part....never been in a car :D
From the factory. Just been sitting in storage for a few years.
Includes clutch, flywheel and bell housing.

Put a TPIS ZZ409 in it. The hot cam isn't big enough.:D

Do some good head work with it and the hot cam will make of 370 horsepower and get good gas mileage and be very driveable in the process.

Why does everybody hate that cam so much? Is it just because it's a GM piece?

Anyway, slap an electric water pump on it while you've got it sitting there. 10 HP straight to the ground.

Glock, no it's the 93 LT1 crate motor that is straight from the factory.
Never been installed on a car. I just recall in the original 'for sale' post
that you stated you had seen the pics. He emailed the pics to ones
that asked for them.

I had seen you recommend the electric water pump a few time,
but I didnt' realize it was good for 10 ponies to the wheels.
I'm sure going to consider it.

You know that's right. I normally spend more time cleaning parts than actually working on the engine. This is going to be a breeze..... :)
