Got my 86 back from the mufler shop today. Had them take the cats off an run a true dual w/cross over an turbo muflers.WOW is like a hole different car,has more torque.I thing headers will be next. Sorry just had to brag

I didn't realize muffler shops would actually take off the cats.

I cut them off before it took it there. So they realy didnt take them off.

Congrats, now your an environmental terrorist.
Just kidding I did the same thing to my 84,mine doesnt need anymore inspections because I got Historic plates.

Does yours have to pass inspection?

Mine was a classic on jan 1st! But I had already removed the cat in favor of headmen lt headers and a Corsa cat back freom a 93. She's really throaty with no crackle on deceleration.

Mine should go in for 2.5 inch duals soon to match my melrose longtubes

hoping it gives her more pep than my stock exhaust haha
