Check Engine Soon AND Interior Flickering Lights Problems!
Every so often, maybe 4 times since I have been driving the car (I have had it out a dozen times or so since I bought it) my Check Engine Soon light flicks on for 10 seconds or so and then goes off. It seems to come on after the car is first started and run for 5 minutes or so and I'm going at a very low speed. Is this a problem?
Second question - When I hit a hard bump, or I come off a steep ramp (out of a parking garage, for example), my interior lights flicker for a moment. I checked both of the pins on the doors that activate the lights and they seem to be functioning. I hear a "click" under the passenger dash when they flip on.

You need to jump at A to G terminals of the ALDL connector with a paper clip(thats top right and bottom left) and turn the key on with out starting the engine and watch the speedo codes will desplay there 1.1 is CCM codes and 4.1 are ECM codes9.1 are ADB/ASR codes, need to knwo what may be going on let us know all the codes you get. As for the int. lights one of the door ajar switches are over adjusted and may have to be replaced if the switch looks like just a tube sticking out with out a pin sticking out from the top of the switch then it has been over traveled and adjustment taken out. There is what looks like a pin inside the button that has detents on is when you get a new switch it wll be sticking out from the button about 1/2" then when you close the door it will adjust and maybe have about 1/16" still out but hard closing of the door or loosing of the latch will let it overtravel and then shuve the pin in all the way and give you the problem you have.
