I was looking at Jeg's online tonight and found this, check the shipping date.

I, for one, will only believe it when I see it. Furthermore I have lost interest in getting one but I also have not found anything else I am interested in. Finding this prompted me to look at Summit, it isn't even listed there.

Well, I guess a small part of me would like to see this intake available even though BBK has teased us with it way too long. I emailed them to see if Jeg's truly did have it in stock, they replied that the intake is not even ready to go into production. It is strictly my belief that they are having doubts about whether it will sell with all the bad feedback it has gotten. They have no one to blame but themselves. I don't remember what the name of their rep was that was on here touting the manifold but he was definitely full of crap. As far as I'm concerned they would have to give me one free of charge, that's the only way one will be put on my engine now.

The FIRST is only a couple hundred more and comes with a TB.
I liked the original price $399, They added the corvette tax.

Yeah, if it was still that price I'm afraid I would have to swallow my pride and buy one.

I think they just changed the ship date again...but $800 for 10 HP is insane; you can get that with a $40 K&N...

Of course it will make 50hp more where the TPI drops off, makes sense. Shorten the runner length like using a superram, miniram LT1 intake it will happen. Nature ofthe beast

Like to see someone step up to the plate and get one, bet it performs nice. $800 seems reasonable for what youre getting.

There is no magical intake that gives perfect bottom end and top end its always a trade off.

I waited for a year for this thing. I did the HSR mod when I called and they had no answer for me.

Everything you say is true,,100%. I would have stepped up and bought one but enough is enough and I sincerely doubt it will ever exist.
