Default Dyno tune problem

Trailered my 94 LT1 to have it dyno tuned. The tuner already had tuned the computer with a mail order tune previously.

The problem--he could not upload any data to his computer to retune my OBD1 computer. Determined that there must be a loose wire that was intermittent. He had no problem tuning my computer with his harness on the mail order tune so we know its probably a wiring issue.
It would start to upload and then quit.

Unfortunately, he did not bring his harness to the dyno tune. Anyone else have this problem? Will now have to identify which wire is the problem or do a bench tune with his harness at the next dyno tune.

I would check pins at both harnesses and then continuity while jiggling stuff around

Thanks for the info. Plan to dyno tune again at the summer racing season break in July
