Default Flacid Sun Visor

On my 96, the end of my passenger's side sun visor looks like the ear of a Basset Hound.

Is there a fix for this?

I tried a search but didn't find much.

Thanks!

Try the little blue pill. It's supposed to work wonders.

If condition is pretty good some people slip a plastic strip, like from a blind, under the fabric.

My visors were in bad shape so I took them apart, bent up some new cardboard backing and sew some new fabric over it all.

I fixed mine with a wooden shish-ko-bob stick, bamboo with a pointy end. Cut it the length of the visor, push it into the front seam in front of the mirror. Proceed slowly, there is some padding stuff in there that will get bunched up if you are not careful. They sell these at the grocery store or the dollar store.

Just keep the script bottle over the visor

I folded mine over and just went with it. Sad thing is that my brother has an upolstry shop. Neither my seats or my visors get attention. He will not charge family and paying customers take first slot.

Oh well

Get some long tywraps, Home Depot has 10 inch ones.
Very carefully pry up the mirror assy. just a bit with a screwdriver and work the tywrap in beside the mirror. Push it in past the floppy part, you can feel it with your finger under the cloth. Once it's n the whole way, pull it back out about a quarter inch, clipoff the excess and use a small screwdriver to push it back in. Do one on each side of the mirror.

Either that or tie wrap the floppy visor to the rear view mirror.

I slipped a plastic ruler inside each one on my 95 vert and they look good as new. Somewhere on the Forum there were directions and a picture...
