OK. Never had the light come on until today . Pulled in the drive to put a new console plate in, had the ride control light come on before execpt on start up like it should. Took the console cover off to change out with a new one. It was dirty and dusty under there, so i took a rag and wiped all the dust out. unscrewed the FX3 and power seat controls to wipe under there, all clean and new console great right??? Wrong! Start the car back up and a few minutes later the service ride control light comes up and stays on???? So after doing some research here, I pulled the code for the FX3 and it blinks out three 12's and then three 23's? But I could'nt find the code for 23?
I know for sure it's blinking a 23? What do you guys think it could be???
I'm 99.9% sure its that there is nothing wrong with the FX3 system ????
Any thought please...
Thanks guys..................Scott
Re: Not your normal FX3 problem!!Help!!! (ScottsLT1)
If the FX3 controller sees like 3 ignition cycles w/o any speed sensor signal it thinks something is wrong. Just drive the car around the block and see what happens.
It's a really simple system, not much to it at all.
Re: Not your normal FX3 problem!!Help!!! (ScottsLT1)
The code 23 is "Loss of vehicle speed signal". Like corvette_Z51 said, when you cycle the iginition 3 times without the car moving, this code is set. The code will remain in history even though you drive the car and the SRC light goes off. You should clear that code.
