What is a good kit to buy? Will the kit come with a new sensor? I would like to just leave the old one in place. I've looked at a couple, but $45-$50 seems a little steep for a wire harness and a grommet.
All the kits out there seem to not come with a fucntional sensor. My kit is $34 .99 compared to your being $44.99. YOu will also need to verify you fitting. There were two different ones for your year.
I wonder if it is even worth it.
Has anyone dyno'd or proved that this thing works!!! I am thinking about getting one if the proof is there.
I am also concerned about it richening up the mixture. Where did I see info on this? If ya do the throttle body bypass, ya probably don't need the re-location kit.

Re: Mat relocator kit (KYVette90)
I've got both no problems.
Same here.
I really wouldn't worry about over-richening the mixture. IMO, the MAT sensor in the standard location basically allows it to become a heat sink so rather than reading the temperature of the air around it it is reading the temperature it has reached through heat soak from the motor and the components around it.
I'm sure installing an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and not setting it correctly would do more to cause a rich mixture (under WOT at least) than this mod.
