I installed the March 3 piece set. Don't run headlights much at all, but never have had any problems when I did run several accessories at the same time. I'd say go for it.

So you don't have the amp series which helps with charging?
I am wondering if they are less effective than the plain set.
I think the amp series just puts a smaller pulley on the alternator so it spins faster right?
Yeah but I ma not sure how much that cancels out the crank. This thing does not rev up quick at all compared to other cars I have had, and it needs all the help it can get.
I have the March Power & Amp series on my '88 but only run the under crank & over alt pullies.
Have you tossed the "frisbee" from your WP pulley yet and maybe bump stock timing to 8 deg BTDC??
Frisbee is gone now, and I will mess with timing after it is running again, but it has the hypercrap chip in it, so I can't mess with it too much I don't think. Before I sold the SR, I was going to get a tuned chip, but....
I have a 1990 Vert auto with the 3 pc. billet aluminum March U/D pullies. To run proper you must have the smaller alternator pulley on for proper charging. Tried it both ways and it is a must for the smaller one supplied. I needed a 90-1/2" belt also. I am currently running 3:54 gears also...replaced the 2:73's. I have no problems with this set up.
