One More Time: What is the major difference between these bars? The Harbar, Cross-Bar and the Arizona Speed and Marine Restraint Harness Bar? I want to put the seats all the back and get a safe bar to mount a herness? Anybody already investigated these. Thanks.
The Hardbar is a thick aluminum tube that attaches at the seat belt mount on the B pillar.
The Cross bar is essentially the same but is more oval in shape.
The AS&M and Terry Farber bar have the hoops. AS&M has tabs on the hoops that attach where the targa top bolts in.
I have the Exotic Muscle bar which to me looks the best, but takes a bit of work to install(cutting carpet, modifying the T-Top holders)
Brey Krause looks to be the best one out there, but also the most expensive one (around$500 or so).
I believe all of these allow full movement of the seats.
The "Cross-bar" does allow your seats to be moved all the way back and does not affect any of the options that your car has, such as removing the top. It is also designed the increase the rigidity of your car with a stiffness that you will feel, just driving around town.
There is special pricing in the Mall for Forum members and you are welcome to call me if you have any questions about any of our products.
the hoops are to prevent Decap in an accident. :yesnod:
      How would you be decapitated without having those hoops?
In a serious wreck:eek:
Most of the bars are level with your neck....after the crash I seen in Florida a few years back. I will stick with the Hoops. :yesnod:
Peace
