Default Gauge swap question

Does anyone have a list of what gauge clusters from other cars will work in a 86.
I did a search and found alot of people use late 80's firebird but I was wondering if there are any others without rewiring everything. Local salvage yard has complete dash clusters that receive digital input for 40.00. They are all 95 and later all makes/models.
Plug and play would really be nice

late 80's flaming chicken gauges accept all the oem 86 vette inputs, no wiring changes to the vette...you can install/remove the f-c cluster (with a connector added to match the oem vette dash connector) without raising the hood or the car...you need a Gm p/n 25071437 '4-out-buffer'
to condition the vette Vss signal for most late 80's Gm elec speedos.

later, i.e. 94+, Gm's (and all LTx, LSx engines) have different tach signal and (most) fuel sender signal, some speedo input issues...these can be 'worked around' but not recommended for those 'electronically faint of heart'

if downgrading your sbc1 engine to a later LTx or LSx, the late 90's f-c or camo dash may be of interest to get tach function.
