Default Adjusting TPS

Friends,

I just installed Big Mouth manifold, large tubes and ported plenum. I have purchased the digital voltmeter on sale from Mid America. Problem is I can't determine the correct setting on the meter to measure the correct voltage. Can anybody help me? Thanks!

Greg

Use the setting that reads out volts in thousandths for the idle setting. Like .540 volts. For the WOT setting, I use the hundredths setting, which allows you to see the digit to the left of the decimal point and the two digits to the right of the decimal point.

Pretty sure that this would be the same or similar for your dvm.

From looking at the picture in the catalog of their $29.95 Digital Engine Analyzer.... You will be wanting to use the part of the dial in the upper left quarter, with the V with the one solid and one broken line beside it (that means DC volts, the V with the wavy line beside it is AC volts). Turn it to a range that is around 5v, the pic is a bit blurry, but it looks like the middle stop says 20. I would use that setting. Does this help? Good luck
