Aararrrggghh... Ok , just had to get that out of the way. I have a 95 Auto with the LT1. First, I let the car sit for the past two months as we were buried in snow here in PA. Put fresh gas in the car and charged it up. Now, the other day I drove it to work, all the gauges started messing up. The security light started flashing, sys light flashed a few times, digital gauges stated giving weird readings- like coolant temp would read 194, then 300, flash out totally then back to 194. Gas gauge is stuck on full all the time, outside temp is always 45-50 degrees, blower fan doesn't work until car has been running for like 1/2 hr. Now today, all the lights started flashing, then would not start, but when you close the doors the chime would start, and the blower for the heating system is on with the car off and in the driveway, no key in it. Car is dead in my driveway, well, sort of dead, the blower motor keeps turing on and off by itself. Do I need a priest? Help!
try a new batt first. make sure there isn't water in the car any where. and check the cables on the batt. sounds like you either have some corrosion on a ground that feeds several items, or you have a failed ccm.
Measure the voltage on the battery terminals. Engine running and cold, it should be 14.7 volts and this will drop to 13.7 volts when the alternator gets to operating temperature. C4's stop running and weird stuff like you experience occurs at about 10 volts. You should NEVER EVER let a lead acid battery sit doing nothing for long periods (4+ wks) because they self discharge even disconnected and lead sulfate collects on the plates and left sitting the lead sulfate becomes hard and will not convert back to lead and sulfuric acid upon charging like normal. Also, lead sulfate is a good insulator and a battery left sitting becomes smaller and smaller in amp-hour capacity until it becomes a door stop and will not draw current when you attempt to charge it up.
You can tell the state of charge in a car battery by measuring the voltage on its posts. 12.0 volts and lower, discharged, charge the battery up with a battery charger. Batteries take a long time to charge and alternators aren't meant to charge up dead batteries, dead batteries draw large current at first and this heats alternators and shortens their life. Besides, you don't want to run your engine for 12 hours! 12.9 volts and higher, fully charged and linear in between.
I suspect you have a defective battery. From now on, buy a battery tender and keep your battery charged when it sits for long periods, you will then experience normal battery life.
Got it started, now I have sys flashing and security lighting up. I must have thrown a code. No time today to mess with it. I will post an update for anyone intested when I have the code or codes.

Sounds like you got water on the electrical system somewhere and it is drying out and starting to go back to normal.
Did the car sit in the snow or did you go thru any water?
Disconnect the battery and let sit for several hours, also check fuses.
Yeah, here in southern PA we were buried by two storms. Both dumped feet of snow. My corvette was buried undfer 3 or more feet of snow several times. Wish I had a garage.
Umm.. here is where I am. I have a new battery, car will start. I get the sys flashing three times as well as security flashing at the same time. I have tried to get any codes, but I cannot get the paperclip thingy to work. I have been trying to pull codes for a couple days now but no luck. Car wants to stall upon first starting it, but after a few tries will run as usual. Any ideas?? Thanks for any replies.
Got it. Under the battery box, there is a ground that attaches to the frame. It was very bad. All is good now. Just thought I would post this in case anyone has the same problem in the future.
