Default Which injector do I have?

I need to verify what size injectors I have.
Number I found on the injector are as follows ( Body is black)
17089225
A3216
710186
w/66

Those are all the numbers on the injector. Or is there a link that I can go to... to cross referance this?

Thanks Guys!

So far I have found out that they are a Rochester injector
They did cross to a Bosch 0280155807

Here is the link to the ones I bought from a forum member.
I'm trying to figure out how to take the data given on the specifications sheet and turn it into a lb/hr?

Ask Jon, I have yet to hear about anyone who knows more about injectors, than him and his crew.

Hi I agree with pkazsr. Ask Jon at FIC. He is just fantastic. will tell you exactly what they are and also recommend. I have an 85 4+3. and bought Bosch genIII from him . I live in Norway and he gave an incredibly good service and knowledge. The injectors has changed how the engine starts and given better response and less fuel consumption.
I am 100% sure he recognze the numbers

I have been checking all my data bases trying to find that injector.. Its nowhere to be found. I can assure you that it did not come from a production lt4 as every one had part #17124251 They are also 26.6
The injector data supplied with your set says they flow 315 cc/mn at static. Adding the dead times to a 28 that is consistent. There were a few LT4 engine made that never hit a serialized vehicle. Those had the 28's. Then prior to production, the engine made more HP than the ls1 so they reduced the flow of the production head and went to a milder cam to lower HP, You never know with GM but some how an early lt4 got into a car. Maybe a COPO deal or something. The injector you have might not be in rochesters data because it never hit production. I also looked to cross reference a 28 and can't find any vehicle that was produced with a 28 made by Rochester. Interesting!

thanks Jon!... I called cruzin performance since there name was on the sheet. The fella I spoke with was Rich (very helpful) told me the LT4's had them for a year and then they stopped production. He also said that when he flowed that particular set they ranged from 25.11 to 26.9 lbs/hr.

Now I did find them on one website but they didn't have any spec's on them. Then when I crossed them to that Bosch number I found that that number for for a kia!!! so that had to have been a misprint.

You stated that they flowed 315cc/mn and adding dead times of 28 thats consistant. Exactly what does that mean? I ask because I'm having a issue tuning this car.
thanks

I'm glad he was helpful. However the lt4 was only used in corvette for 1 year. 1996. Its all over gm literature that the injector was the 17124251. In 97 the lt4 was used in the Firehawk and it still had the 17124251 so i dont understand the comment. I looked at the flow data in static (wide open) it runs for 20 secs.. i think it says 105cc.. so 3 times that amount would tell me what it flowed for a minute, a 28lb injector will always flow more in static mode because there is no off time. When pulsing the time it stays closed between pulses has to be calculated into its ultimate size

Good Point!... so I have some oddball injectors then.

thanks for explaining what you meant about the static pressure and pulses. That makes sense to me know.

I'm not sure how oddball they are...
I'm getting the car tuned and before I did so I wanted to make sure I had the proper size injectors. I went to look and low and behold.... the PN is 17089225. There is also a AN115 number on there too.. The body is half black, half some form of an olive color.

they're 28 lb injectors then?

yes that what they are considered from what I found out. But actual flow, well the ones I have at least range 25.1 to 26.11
