I think the hardest part will be to figure out how to attach the torque arm to the back of the th350. There is somebody on here that is putting a 4l80e in his c4 and he fabbed up a real neat bracket to attach the torque arm to. I just tried searching for 4l80e and couldn't find it. I think it might have been one of the Bowtie8 guys. I would think if you could make something like that you might be able to do it. You will also need a longer driveshaft I think. A good large drive shaft shop can make you an aluminum one. Take a look at my web site to see what I'm doing with my trans. So far it is going okay. I got the tranny bolted in the other night. I found out there is no way to get the torque arm in place when it is bolted in. So, my plan now is to make some plates to reinforce the torque arm and then I'm going to cut it in two. That way I can put the two pieces in place and bolt them together. I went to a machine shop today and showed him the arm and he showed me where I can cut it and how to reinforce it and he said it will be stronger than without it. Good Luck with your idea.
