Default C4 Headlight Adjustment

After researching quite a bit, I have tackled the rebuilding of the motor for one of my 88's Headlights. I have the new gear on order now. I was wondering, when I re-assemble, are there adjustments to be made once it is all back together? Or, if it does not close to the correct position, will I have to disasseble the motor again, to adjust the gear by a few teeth? That would be quite a task.

You will not have to adjust the gear teeth, the motor stops at full open & close dependent on current draw @ the motor.

The only thing you should need to adjust is the flat headlight cover, so that when the lights are off and in the closed position, the flat cover still sits flush with the hood. You do that by a combination of the bump stop which screws in and out, as well as the 4 torx screws that secure the flat cover to the headlight unit. I hope I'm making sense.
