well i did my intake manfold gasket on the car now nothing leaks that turned out well. now for the problem he car runs starts right up but has codes and pops a little when idaling. the codes that are coming up are mass air flow , throtal pos sensor and air flow. now last year i replaced both of the sensors and i no for a fact that the throtal sensor is working becase if u push the tap the rpm go up.. what should be some things i check with these problem. the car had hese codes befor i did the gaskets it didnt run to good last year eather now im just trying to fix the problems
Have you cleared the codes?
Do you have a factory service manual?
After you disconnect the neg cable to clear the codes (or pull the ecm fuse), start the engine and see if any codes return. If they do, then you will need a service manual to troubleshoot each code. That is where I would start. Search for vacuum leaks and double check all the wiring and connections.
no i dont have the number for codes. i was thinking does those two sensors have a comon ground? could the ground be messed up making both sensors messged up
