Ok what should I do next?
I have a 1990 L98. I have an auto transmission that was having issues. Had it rebuilt and installed a TransGo shift kit with billet servo etc... I love the way it shifts now! And now that I am getting a small taste of more power I am left with the question of what next. I have about a grand tops to spend right now and am wondering what to do next to get more power out of this thing. NOS is out of the question for now. And I need to replace my rotted out exhaust pipes. What should I buy for this car? My goal is to make a powerful daily driver that I can haul butt on the street and on the freeway still have a comfortable ride. Thanks!

since you are going to be redoing the exhaust system anyways, i would go ahead and do a set of longtube headers, and if you don't have emissions testing an xpipe. if you do have emissions testing, get hi flow cats and to top it off use some hi flow mufflers.
you could also do 1.6 roller rockers, good amount of power to be gained for the $$$

1k will buy you the following take your pick:
3.54 or 3.73 gears in your Dana 36; fedex the pumpkin to me and I will install for the additional 700.00
nitrous kit from Summit
long tube headers
more money equals:
camshaft
porting of your existing heads or new heads
lower intake, etc. etc.
Add a chip to match everything up and you are all set!
