Default Jacking with ground effects?

My 89 Coupe has ground effects. What’s the best way to raise the car to put jack stands under it?
I’ve read a lot of threads on jacking but none were about having ground effects that I have seen.
From what I can tell without raising the car the bottom part of the effects is covering the frame rail were the normal jacking points are.

$130 at northern tool

It is only 3" tall and stays 3" tall for 22"

Its the best jack ive seen for low ground effect cars. I bought after I lowered my 99 ss camaro it to had side ground effects.

Only downside to the jack is it is 109lbs ! but it is also very long and low and lifts from 3" to 22" and rated at 3 ton. Its a nice jack.

You can also drive up on some 2x6's to get more clearance. Ive had to do that many of times.

The ground effects stops short of the jacking points, you just need to have a jack thats low enough to fit under the car with the ground effects on..WW

Before I had a low profile jack I used to drive up on a couple of 2 x 4's first then jack it up. It will give you an added inch and half

Is it safe to raise the cars using a floor jack under the front cross member and for the rear under the differential?

I use the front crossmember but always place my rhino ramps under the front tires just for safety.

My previous 86 had ground effects and I use to have to drive the car up on three 2x6 boards I screwed together in a stair-step fashion in order for me to position the jack under a suspension member.

Ended up using the ZR1 way I saw a post on using a hockey puck on the jack. It worked well with little effort other then using a scissor jack to get the car high enough to get the floor jack under it. Thanks for all the responses. It's beer thrity now!
