Will it Fit? Targa top question!
Can a 84-86 targa top fit on a 96 coupe? I know the mounting hardware will have to be changed, but will the targa top itself fit ,or is
there a slight difference in length or mounting location?

I'd just get an 89-96 top as that is the style that came on the car. As all you would have to do is adjust it when you put it on. If you go older, then I believe you also have to replace interior trim along with the windshield brackets.
Plus, I'm sure they redesigned the mounting of the top for a reason. The 89-96 tops are alot easier to find, especially with companies who rebuild the tops.
