Default How to pull Backup light switch

I have done a search on the topic. I have pulled the connector on the switch and jumped it. Lights work when I do that, so I atleast know it is the switch. Now....how the hell do I get the switch out??? It's a '91. Do I need a special tool or do I just try and wrench it off with a pair of pliers???

Thanks for your help

I assume this is a 6-speed? :) I got the one off of my tranny using a set of pliers in there. There are other methods, but this worked for me. :)

If there is the same clearance as my 4+3, I had to machine a 7/8 socket for .015 clearance from hex peak to OD to remove the switch.
