Code 53 (1986)
As soon as I power up (hook up the battery) you can hear the relay go on and it will start ok but idles rough. Code 53. Seems to be coming from the MAF sensor.
Should I start looking for a new sensor?

Un plug MAF and see if it runs better. There are 2 relays that control your MAF. Replace those first. They are cheap. 10 bucks
