where are the teflon washers located and how many should i buy?
also if i heated the t55 bolts should i replace them?

One teflon washer each side, located on spline just inboard of the hub. T55 bolts should be OK.

You'll probably have to get those from a dealer.

Also, the washers can be installed incorrectly (they are curved in one direction), so just use common sense and make sure they seat on the spline correctly.

All of the inner washers that I have purchased from GM are iron oxide coated, not teflon.
Why would teflon coating be required? The washers are firmly clamped between the inner bearing sleeve and the raised step on the spindle. There is no movement between the two.
GM lists them as "seals" not "washers". Their function is to seal the gap between the spindle and the outer sleeve of the bearing.

If you look at the link I posted the last frame right out of the FSM they are refered to as washers.
