Default 1987 Door light

How do I change the bulbs in the doors on my 1987 coupe?

Thanks in advance

first you have to take the bezel that sourrounds the handle off the car, it can be done without taking the door panel off but I know several people say its eaiser just to take the door panel off. once you get the bezel off you can get the back side of the light and there is a pin that holds the lense on the housing, pull the pin and remove and replace the bulb. Hope that helps

First, remove the negative battery terminal. Then, pull on the door handle to gain access to the screw that holds the plastic door handle trim plate on.

After you remove it, take a thin-bladed knife and gently pry on the plastic lens to remove the door light cover. Once you get the cover off, you can gain access to the bulb.

No need to remove the entire door panel.
