How do I see if I have an active fault code in my 1994 LTI Coupe ?
I just took out the MAF screen I took it apart and carefully set aside while I removed the screen and carefully put it back together, reinstalled it now it won't start.

Re: CODE 32? (jims_red_94LT1)
code 32 is the EGR
The most common cause of this code is a bad or intermittent EGR switch which is located on the EGR pipe between the exhaust manifold and the intake manifold. Replace this switch first when you get this code. Next, check electrical connections at EGR valve solenoid and then the ECM. Check all vacuum lines for leaks especially around the EGR valve. Possible ECM failure.
I just don't understand it ran fine before I touched the mAF and now it won't start. I had to of touched something although as careful as I was being I don't see how.
Thanks
Jim
Thanks Goody, I'll try it this evening when I get home. Any other suggestions on what could be causing it not to start? Is the active code keep it from starting?
Thanks for the help.
Jim
