Default wheel rotation question

this may be a very dumb question but...

I have noticed that when people list c4 wheels like saw blades for sale they label them as "left" or "right" wheel.

my question is does it matter where you put them on your car? are they specific to the drive side or passenger side or front/rear? I guess can you rotate your wheels?

i have a 92 coupe six speed with 4 17x9.5 (275s)

thanks

The saw blades were designed to go on one side or the other. There is a proper side. I believe the point is to aid in cooling the brakes, but I doubt if matters much to the average C4 driver. If you want to stay correct, you can rotate front to back, if your tires are the same size.

You can rotate front to back only to stay correct.
