Misfire
Pulling away from a stop sign this AM, car started misfiring. Backed off the throttle, it seemed to clear itself up in about 1 mile. Approx. 8K miles on an Optispark, plugs and wires. It did not throw a code (no check engine light). Any help would be appreciated.

just a suggestion, but I had a car once that would spit and sputter every once in a while while accelerating from a dead stop. The problem turned out to be the fuel filter. Once I changed it, the problem stopped.

Fuel filter has about 9K on it. It sounded like it dropped a couple plugs, but like I said, it smoothed out and ran okay the rest of the way. Had just come off the freeway (a 5 mile run @ 75 - 80 mph).
